Erik Boehm CFA® , CKA®

Erik brings international and institutional investment perspectives to the team, having begun his financial career in the Czech Republic working for both a local bank and an emerging equity fund. He enjoyed his European professional adventures between 1989 and 2004, but his claim to fame was gathering a piece of the Berlin wall on the eve of 1990 while he was working at BASF in Germany. He returned to Chattanooga in 2004 with his Czech bride and teamed up with David at Merrill Lynch to advise individuals and families. With complementary investment philosophies and in the pursuit of greater independence, the partners co-founded Stone Bridge Asset Management in 2011. Erik holds degrees from New York University's Stern School of Business, Johns Hopkins' SAIS, and Georgetown University. He obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation in 2002 (CFA® and Chartered Financial Analyst® are registered trademarks owned by CFA Institute) and the Certified Kingdom Advisor® designation in 2007. He and his wife, Denisa, reside in Signal Mountain, TN and have two adult children, both of whom live in Alabama. Outside of the office he can be found spending time with his wife and family; pursuing spiritual growth with his wife, with his church family, and with like-minded Christian men; exercising regularly; and traveling occasionally to the Czech Republic.

Graduated magna cum laude from Washington and Lee University with a dual degree in Economics and Romance Languages. Earned her Juris Doctorate from Boston College Law School, graduating summa cum laude while acting as a Senior Editor of the Boston College Law Review.

Experience

Erin has practiced estate planning, probate administration, long-term care planning and residential real estate for the past 7 years. She clerked for the Honorable Peter J. Walsh Chief Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. And was an Associate in the Bankruptcy and Business Restructuring Group of Ropes & Gray, LLP.

Erin is an active participant in the Medfield Community and has spent numerous years serving on the Executive Boards of the New ‘N Towne Club of Medfield, Inc., the Ralph Wheelock and Dale Street School PTOs, and the Medfield Coalition for Pubic Education.
